Take a look at Google Groups...  :@)

It may well have been written before the advent of Wireless Connections 
and handhelds.  So was Linux...  your point?

Just because handhelds follow the broken rules of Microsoft Outlook and 
Lotus Notes, should we all bow down and accept it?  Isn't that one of 
the reasons we *don't* run MSVirus?

If you can guarantee all mails arrive in the order they er written, your 
case may have more merit.  Or how about top posting a rely to a digest?  
On this list that could be a 90k e-mail with "Thanks!" at the top...
