It's an OLD saying sort of rephrased. The pot calling the kettle black.
Refers to the black soot that collected on the pots and pans in the old
wood burning days.
I took no offense. I was sure non was intended. It would take a LOT more
than something like that to offend me. I got a hide like a rhino.
