language-pack-kde-en problem for Canadian users

I dist-upgraded gutsy yesterday, and ran into this bug:

A problem in language-pack-kde-en (1:7.10+20080205 in Gutsy, 1:8.04+20080209
in Hardy) makes it impossible to start KDE with "LANG=en_CA".  The simple
fix is to downgrade the language-pack to the version you replaced. 
Starting with practically _any_ other setting for LANG should work, too.
