Virtual Box

I am considering having a go at VB. I have installed it and read up a
lot about it. Now I must increase my RAM first, before I start.

Meanwhile I have read about the so called 'race' conditions on certain
versions of Ubuntu, including Edgy, though it seems to talk about
kernel 2.6.18.

I use kubuntu 6.06 and the kernel is version 2.6.17. Can anyone tell me
if that will be OK please?

Any help or comments also gratefully received.
