Java for use in Firefox and Open Office - which packages to download?

Yeah, really.  I can't see any dependencies, only the "Suggests" for 
firefox-3.0-gnome-support.

Well the fuss is not nearly so much about the "gnomish" bits, but the 
duplication, imo.   Art's list specifically included:
gksu: duplicating kdesudo, but differently
gnome-keyring: duplicating kwallet
gnome-mime-data: What?  This isn't even desktop stuff...
gnome-mount: gotta be doing something differently....

I could live with those, and others, except the gnome-keyring bit.  It 
drives me nuts that my one frequently-used gnome app - evolution (for 
the exchange connector) has to pop up a separate prompt for the keyring 
from every other app I use.
