Q: how is plasma different?

I think that rotating the whole screen 90 deg is very nice if you have a
wide monitor that can also rotate. This lets you view printed pages in the
shape of the paper.

Also is it not true that kde 3 can't run on MS windows but KDE 4 can or will
be able to? Not sure this is a good thing but it might let programs like
Amarok run on MS.
