originally it was one of the @mypostoffice.co.uk accounts, but only 
because I had chosen to enter them first (being my new ISP and being 
my main email accounts).

But as I said before Bruce, I never had to mess around like this with 
setting or selecting specific transport protocols, I don't remember 
it ever being an issue before, but I could be mistaken, maybe it just 
wasn't an issue with my previous provider, Virgin. But tbh, I don't 
even remember seeing a 'transport protocol' before either...
