Hi - I don't know the answer, but it looks like it can't find awk. Perhaps
you have to create the symlink again. My system (Gutsy) says:

root at ddm:/etc# which awk
/usr/bin/awk
root at ddm:/etc# ls -l /usr/bin/awk
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 2007-11-11
06:53 /usr/bin/awk -> /etc/alternatives/awk

In /etc/alternatives/ it points awk to /usr/bin/gawk

So, go check if gawk is listed as 'awk' and you should be past one bug.
