Kmail goes to outbox.

Many times an email goes to the outbox with the statement that there was 
trouble connecting to the server.  To resend, I have been clicking on the 
outbox, double clicking on the email and resending.  It always works the 
second time.  Is there a way to have kmail resend until it succeeds?

I couldn't find anything in configuration.  It doesn't happen every time, 
however way too often.  It acts like a Microsoft product, 5 clicks to get a 
single thing done.
