Prelude to my post. (I removed Compiz due to what I thought were memory
problems and crashes. I need this computer functioning for a few more days.
If the problem I was having can be cured, I will fix it, but I can't take a
chance on crashing and burning for a few days with this computer.)
It was suggest that I make this post, which is a little over my head yet. In
the Konsole, I typed 'cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf' and what is below came on the
terminal:
# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Generally it doesn't look like I got a desired result, I was asked to provide
the contents of the above file; this looks like some kind of instruction
rather than data. I need the doctor?
