It took awhile, but I managed to find QuickQuote and install it into
TBird.  This is just to show how nicely it did the job.  Usually, when I
reply to this list the first number of lines within the preset limit are
quoted and nothing else.  By selecting what I wanted to appear in the
quote and right-clicking on the screen, I got to send what I wished and
only that.
