Kmail and Yahoo (was Re: konqueror search engines)

I never open Kmail, unless I want it.  I looked to see if it showed on 
the taskbar.  It was not.  Are you saying it is running and not on 
screen or the taskbar?  When I boot up, it opens.  I close it at that 
time.  I do that because I can't send, so it is meaningless to have it 
open.  Maybe this is more of the Newbie experience.
