You can use the grub shell to update the boot sector to point to the 
partition that contains the menu you want:

sudo grub
grub> root (hd0,6)
grub> setup (hd0)
grub> quit

Note that in grub notation the partition numbers are zero-based, so sda7 
becomes (hd0,6).
