I need to Sort [alphabetically] the Application Launcher Menu (widget)

Well that's a bit weird. My Hardy Heron 8.0.4 has the kcontrol.desktop 
in /usr/share/applications/kde. that incidentally is kde, not the kde4 
directory.

Weird, really weird.
