Kubuntu-8.04
Can't get Bluetooth mouse to connect upon rebooting.
But once you login to Desktop and click on Panel Bluetooth Icon, you can
connect there with no problem.

Below is the "hidd" section of /etc/default/bluetooth

############ HIDD
#
# HID daemon
HIDD_ENABLED=1
HIDD_OPTIONS="--server"
# to make hidd always use a particular interface, use something
# like this, substituting the bdaddr of the interface:
HIDD_OPTIONS="--connect 00:07:61:96:81:C4"
#HIDD_OPTIONS="-i 00:07:61:96:81:C4 --server"
#
# remove '--master' if you're having trouble working with Ericsson
# T630 phones with hidd operational at the same time.
