BUT, it's not. I don't think I can send through a screen shot but it 
very obviously isn't running at 640x480. Object size on the screen makes 
it quite obvious. It looks very comparable to my 1280x1024 on the eMachine

The 8.04 machine [ intel graphics ] is my backup computer, a Compaq 
Presario. The 7.10 machine is my primary computer, an eMachine [ ati 
graphics ]. They both share the monitor with a KVM switch. The 8.04 was 
a clean install after I deleted the OpenSuSE 7.3 install partition that 
was on that drive. Each OS on each machine has it's own hard drive.
