Kubuntu vs. Ubuntu

I don't know, you tell me! Is it hidden or something? Remember, I'm BRAND new to all this, I haven't done any reading yet, figuring it should all be intuitive. I'm clicking on System Menu, Users Folders, navigating to the etc folder, and looking for a folder called fstab. Looking alphabetically. Not there.
