Memory question

I just checked on another laptop which uses the same [similar] memory modules - my 
memory modules works in the other laptop and its memory doesn't work in my laptop 
- which means that my slot is dead :-(

So, Feather Linux will have to stay (I'm left with only 64 MB RAM) :-(
