That's what kdesu is used for. It is usually a bad idea to allow every 
local user access to your screen. IMHO, if (and only if) you are the only 
user on the machine and nobody has access to the machine via network, it 
is not a real problem. But here the problem seems not to be access to the 
screen anyway.
