Keyboarding between tabs in Firefox

I am using Firefox on Kubuntu (KDE) and and I not sure how I did it but 
if I click on the tab then the left and right arrow keys will move to 
the next tab. If I click in the  open page for that tab the arrow keys 
do not switch tabs.
