Capturing Video from CAM

I think there is a program called Kino that can pull in video from a
cam.  It is a program that also lets you edit and export the video.
However, I have never used it so I can't tell you the quality of the
software, but, from what I can tell, it should give you all the
functionality you need.  I'm sure there are other programs out there;
Cinelerra is another option, but it is really useful if you are doing
professional video editing (e.g. you might get lost in the program).
