Printer, again!

I don't have direct experience with the HP you describe but if it is not
already listed as a choice you could probably use the post script
driver. As for setting it up I do this at home on my network and it is
fairly simple and works perfectly. there is one tricky part that of you
don't know it you will not get past it though.

- Open system settings
- Go to printers
- Add a printer/class
- Next
- SMB printer
- Go in as anonymous (this is the part that was tricky. you have to be
anonymous to scan.)
- Scan
- Navigate the tree to find your printer and select it
-- if you need to sign-on to the computer for access, back up put in
your credentials and then press next to get back to selection.
- select HP as manufacturer
- Select Laserjet 3030 as type (I just checked and it is there)
- Selected the recommended driver
- The rest or the prompts are fairly straight forward

If you get prompted for a password, put in YOUR password. This is sudo
asking you to validate who you are.
