Root files not visible in Konqueror (Bob)

It's true that "Show Hidden Files" should show all the normal directories,
but by default /.hidden is a symlink
to /etc/kubuntu-default-settings/hidden-root, and this file hides all sorts
of not-normally-hidden files - such as /usr & /var.  Understandably, many
people don't much like that (as a default that was sprung on them without
warning).  If you're a linux geek, and your root directories suddenly
disappear, you're unlikely to immediately realize that "Show Hidden Files"
(normally just used to show dot-files) will bring /usr back.  Even if you
do - I imagine many people think /usr _should_ be visible, but dot-files
shouldn't.
