NetworkManager WPA problem

Hello,
I have a succesful experience using wpa_supplicant e wpa_cli
manually in an enterprise environment, using WPA/TKIP with TTLS

But using network manager NOTHING WORKS, this because the
default phase2 TTLS authentication (aka inner authentication) is set to
eap-md5
by default using NetowrkManager and is not possible from the nm-applet
to set a phase2 authentication method.
How to set up NetworkManager to read a custom wpa_supplicant.conf
so that I can set a proper phase2 option ?
Or how to tell NetworkManager to use phase2="auth=PAP" when it calls
wpa_supplicant
process ?

thanks

Rick
