No, Amarok is using libmtp for sure. I've never done this exercise myself
until today, but I just looked in all amarok and its libraries and nothing
seems to link to libmtp. My guess is that they're dynamically
loading /usr/lib/kde3/libamarok_mtp-mediadevice.so when it's time to interact
with MTP devices.
