Problem with /dev/dsp

Here's what it was on mine:

andrew at ANDREWSCOMPUTER:~$ /etc/udev$ ls -la /dev/dsp
bash: /etc/udev$: No such file or directory
andrew at ANDREWSCOMPUTER:~$ cd /etc/udev
andrew at ANDREWSCOMPUTER:/etc/udev$ ls -la /dev/dsp
crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 3 2007-05-06 16:58 /dev/dsp
andrew at ANDREWSCOMPUTER:/etc/udev$ cd /etc/udev
andrew at ANDREWSCOMPUTER:/etc/udev$ groups
andrew adm dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev scanner netdev
lpadmin powerdev admin vboxusers
