But what if you want to reopen in kmail? Reopening in kmail has many
advantages. It displays as mail and you can reply to it, forward it, etc.
Also, you don't need any extension to open it in kate. Its at text file with
or without the .txt extension.
You can open it in kmail with any extension, too, but you need to type the
file name in the open dialog, as the filter won't show it for selection in
the file list.
