Other feisty troubles

Hi!
The later 2 problems sound like an connection error... Are you using
any kind of proxy server? Meaning: Did you have to specify a proxy in
Firefox or anywhere else?
If so:
Go to System Settings, and search for Proxy. I don't have my Kubuntu
Box handy, so can't tell you where exactly to find it. Anyway, in that
window, you enter your proxy server, port and, if needed,
authentication for it.
