With Linux, viruses on your desktop are not really a concern. If you're
using your Linux box as a mail server, though, you might want to use a
virus scanner to make sure viruses are nicked before they get to the
Windows mail clients.
I personally recommend Clam AV for that purpose. You can find it in the
Universe repository.
