A couple of questions then:

Did you 'fetch updates' in Adept? This will update the list of packages to 
include the ones from the new repository

Which version of Kubuntu are you using? 3.5.6 is only available in Edgy Eft 
6.10 and in Feisty Fawn (in development) - I should have asked that to begin 
with :)

If 'fetch updates' still produces the same result, please post here the 
results of these two commands in a terminal window (Main Menu - System - 
Konsole)

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

if there are any errors they will be shown here.

And then open the file /etc/apt/sources.list and copy the contents and put 
them here as well
