It's a dependency of ubuntu-desktop, which GNOME (and thus almost all
Evolution) users should have.  It probably should be a dependency of
Evolution.  You can file a bug on launchpad.

I wouldn't worry about that.  Many/most X apps have such errors.  People
don't run GUI apps from the command-line often, and remain blissfully
ignorant.
