installing vmware-tools in Ubuntu-6.06?

Hi!
That is not correct. I registered with vmware and I got license keys. Those
are good and don't expire (maybe just with some future release, but apart
from that...). I use the vmware server and there you can install the vmware
tools simply by clicking VM->Install VMware Tools and then you can install
them (it mounts an image with a tar file and rpm).
