A useful application for the windows key?

This script makes you wonder when ubuntu will have a sane "ulimit -u" by 
default.
I know it's easily configurable by editing /etc/security/limits.conf , 
but having a limit high enough (say 1024 for example) is imho better 
than no limit at all. And it would render this script less effective (eg 
won't force you to reboot).
