Kubuntu vs .Ubuntu

But if you'd want to do that, you;d want to install the kubuntu
packages (kubuntu-desktop is it?) rather than the KDE packages.
The KDE packages will unsurprisingly just give you KDE, whereas the
kubuntu packages will give you the full kubuntu experience.
