One of my computers is a Sun Ultra running Debian Etch. I got
fascinated with customizing FVWM before Ubuntu began Sparc support.
This machine has 1 GB memory and 1 GB swap. I just checked
swappiness=60. I usually keep the machine up for a week at a time
and have never gone into swap with it. I have gotten up to 7 MB
free, but never got to swap. I run Kubuntu 6.06 on a Dell i386 with
only 512 MB and use swap quite a bit.
