Spam control

I get a lot of spam, probably due to having a few registered domain 
names. In windows, I use a couple of great apps to control this. The 
combination of K9 (http://keir.net/k9.html) and PopTray 
(http://www.poptray.org/) take my spam from a couple of hundred per day 
to a dozen or so.

Is there anything similar for Kubuntu?

K9 is the main part for the spam control. I use PopTray as a line of 
defence between emails and my inbox. It lets me browse what K9 lets 
though and delete anything I don't want before I open up Thunderbird. 
Ideally, I'd like both apps replaced with similar so I'll be interested 
to hear what you all use.
