AMD deciding _now_ what to do about Linux

I did have exctely the same problem with an AMD 1600 XP. After I totally
removed the thermal conductor,
and I mean REALLY cleaned it up and then recoated it, it droped down to 110
F. In my opinion you should check that again before
trying any other solution. I used the box's cooling system and nothing more!
Just make sure you 've spread correctly the
themal conductor paste!
