Check this out.  This has got to be one of the easiest ways to get MP3,
WMA,WMV, MPEG and who knows what else support for Ubuntu/Kubuntu.
Go into ADEPT and search for "libxine-extracodecs" and install
it....that's it!

If you want K3B to have mp3 support search for "libk3b2-mp3" and install
that...good suff.
