Hello back.

Great to hear. You won't regret it.

You don't need any programming knowledge.

> My question is: Should I read a brochure or book before installing Kubuntu?
The more you read and learn, the better -- but you can just jump in.

> Or can I install it and find my way through???
Yes - we will help too.

It's pretty similar on the surface and very different underneath -- mostly you
only need the surface, so don't worry.

> Thanks for spending your time reading that mail! Hope to get an answer!
I am sure you will get a lot of help from the list -- that's what we are here
for.

Go ahead and install Kubuntu. Make sure you have backed-up your Windows
things, like your emails and private files and so on and then install away.
You can start with a dual-boot, or just erase your entire drive -- it's up to
you.
