When I updated from python 2.4 to python 2.5 the python link stayed
pointed to 2.4.  I changed the link to point to 2.5 and everything
seemed to work OK.  I also removed 2.4.

I did this to mostly study python.

My understanding is 2.5 has bug-fixes and maintains backward
compatibility to 2.4.  Unless the program tests specifically for v2.4
instead of 2.4 or greater there should be no problem.

Still no problems, but thinking back, I wish I'd purged 2.4 and done
a clean update to 2.5.
