I was updating with Adept Updater last night and everything seemed to be
going as well as usual when it suddenly crashed. The error message says
it's caused by signal 11 (SIGSEGV). When I look at backtrace all seems
to be going well until

Does this tell me where it crashed?

I tried to use Adapt Manager to see what had not installed. For
example one item in the update was Klash. Adept Manager shows it as
installed. But when I check http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ it
seems that it has not in fact installed as the flash movie does not play.

So I'm not sure what's going on. Any info will be gratefully received.
