How to install on my laptop (Dell inspiron 6400) with ATI graphic card ?

Hi my Dear friends?
I have Dell Inspiron 6400 With ATI graphic card . When I want to install Kubuntu even Ubuntu the cd not works when the menu came and I choose the first choice .
What must I do?
Please help me .
