Cyrus 2.2 How to make it working ?

Hi,

I would like to test Cyrus but after installed Cyrus2.2 it's impossible
to connect as PLAIN text password without SSL encryption  as we make
with Courier or Dovecot. We use Kubuntu Feisty.

I configured imap.conf to use saslauthd (2.1.22) in PAM and when I test
it with testsaslauthd with my login/passwd the test is Ok but when I
test Cyrus with imtest -a USERID localhost I got any AUTH= mechanism:

root at evelyne:/etc# imtest -a przyswa localhost

And after enter the password it failed to test !?

I posted a lot of question on Cyrus User list but nobody succeed to help
me, perhaps there is some Debian/Ubuntu special setup to do or some
cabalistics incantation :-)
