Dell PCs and Ubuntu

Just a note to those who might be using (K)Ubuntu on those Dell models 
now sold preinstalled. I happen to use the Inspiron 6400/1505 and today 
I visited the Dell support site to check for downloads (having booted in 
  Windows for the first time in months). To my surprise I find that 
there are some downloads specifically for Ubuntu 7.04, namely bios 
update and modem drivers.
