Jordi, it's exactly the same. Today I installed firefox via adept manager (because apt-get works) and it works! So it must be an issue with konqueror. Firefox opens all web site. So tomorrow I'll start to use my kubuntu system. As soon as I'll be back I'll remove XP. ;)

Just one quick thing. Did you try to use kppp instead of wvdial. It seems to have the same flexibility to create a modem and set up the modem parameters.
