I tried:
# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0830:0060 Palm, Inc. Palm Tungsten T / Zire 71
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 058f:9254 Alcor Micro Corp. Hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 059f:0351 LaCie, Ltd
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 03f0:1004 Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 970c/970cse
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 054c:0243 Sony Corp.
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 046d:c215 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

The palm device is in the list (first entry) but still Kpilot does not find
it...
Perhaps I should first re-install Kpilot completely?
