Help me setup a PPPoE connection

If you are trying to create a PPPoE ADSL connection, I'm afraid that 
KNetworkManager or any of the graphical tools won't be of much help.

Instead, go to Konsole and enter this command:

sudo pppoeconf

Just follow the "wizard" to setup your connection. You can set it up to start 
at boot.
