kmail losing emails... help pls!

Translation: "I don't know what happened, but I'm going to blame the program 
because I did something wrong".

Dude, I have over a million emails in Kmail, since 1994. They are all fine and 
dandy.

Did you copy at a folder level like cp -Rapvf /home/joeschmoe/Mail ?
Did you also copy your config files?
Did you check permissions? Did you check if the emails are in the same folder? 
This would indicate a problem with the transfer, etc.
