I'm glad you got it fixed. Often the case with kernel modules is that you have 
to recompile / reinstall after updating the kernel, especially if they're 
from a third party.

Oh, and I *meant* to type 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg' rather than 
dpkg-configure... sorry! But, I guess you don't need it now.
