Help with Beryl - Rotating Cube

Similar yet different problem,  I installed beryl on an Ubuntu Feisty compy,
but when I activate it my screen just goes white...  Never had this problem
before, the video card is Geforce something or other, will have to check.
Would it be the fault of the card or Gnome...  and would KDE work better, in
this respect.
